This Thanksgiving missing number activity will help your kids learn to identify the missing number by counting on, understanding one more or one less, use number order and understanding of number pattern.
Turkey Missing Numbers
This is a fun printable to get your kids ready for Thanksgiving or just a fun turkey-themed math activity!
To prepare, simply print, cut along the lines to separate the cards and laminate! Print on cardstock for extra durability.
Kids will use dry erase markers to write the missing numbers. They will take a card, look at the numbers on the turkey’s feathers and write the numbers that are missing. Then use a tissue or eraser to wipe off and the cards can be used again!
You can choose to use only a few turkeys at a time, only numbers up to 20 or if your kids are ready, use all the turkey cards at once.
There are 12 cards for numbers 0-20 and 8 cards that can be used as an extension for numbers to 100. Together 20 cards!
