Pumpkin Rhyming Puzzles

Rhyming is an important early literacy skill that will make it easier for kids to read. These puzzles are a low prep, hands-on activity to get your kids learning in a fun way!

First, shuffle all the puzzle pieces. Kids can then choose one puzzle piece to get started and say the name of the object pictured. Then they will sort through the rest of the puzzles pieces to find the one that rhymes with the chosen picture.

This printable set includes 12 pumpkin puzzles (2 pieces each). To prepare, simply print out the puzzles. Print on cardstock or laminate for extra durability and cut out the cards on the lines.

These puzzles can be a great addition to your literacy centers, as an early finisher activity or just a fun fall rhyming practice!

    1. Hi Tammi! I’ve just sent you an email with the download link. Please make sure to also check spam/trash folders.

      Best regards, Sandra

  2. I printed it out but black boxes came over some of the pumpkins:( I have adobe acrobat but when I import it there it all turns black and white on the screen. Ant troubleshooting thoughts?

    1. Hi Sandy! I’m not sure what’s wrong. Have you checked that your print settings are correct? It’s a PDF file and it should print in color. Did you try to print other freebies? Do they print okay?
