I got this Ikea picture frame as a gift. It’s from Ikea and while it was pretty, it just didn’t work with the color palette in my daughter’s room. That’s why I decided to make it a little bit more fun and extra girly with washi sticky tapes. These tapes are for sure one of my favourite craft materials after that. So many possibilities! 🙂
I wasn’t really focusing on colors and patterns, i just brought together all washi tapes I could found in our drawers.
First I took the front glass part out, so we had a bare frame to work with. Then I started taping small pieces of tape around the frame. My then 2-year old wanted to help, so this turned out to be our project together. 😉
TA-DA! Done! I’m very happy with the final result. It’ll go beautifully together with lavender painted walls in her room. I’m already searching for a new (old) frame. I tell you, these sticky things are super addictive! 🙂
