The Frogs in the Pond Addition and Subtraction Match is a playful way to practice math fact fluency!
Frogs in the Pond Addition and Subtraction Match
These little frogs are having fun jumping on lily pads. Your kids will help them find matching lily pads by solving addition and subtraction problems to 20!
I love to introduce activities like this in a way that adds a sense of imagination to a simple activity and makes it even more engaging and fun.
There are four ponds with different difficulty levels and matching frogs (addition to 10, addition to 20, subtraction to 10 and subtraction to 20). This way, for example, you can work with simpler math problems with kids first and focus on more challenging ones when they’re ready.
The ponds and frogs are also color coordinated (lily pads on the pond & numbers on frogs) for easy set up.
This frogs themed addition and subtraction activity is a great addition to your math centers or small group practice.
