This Forest Animals Addition & Subtraction Mega Puzzle is a playful way to practice adding and subtracting numbers within 20!

Addition & Subtraction to 20 Mega Puzzle

Since my daughter loves our classic Addition & Subtraction to 20 Puzzles, I decided to make a larger version too. Let’s have some learning fun!

Addition & Subtraction to 20 Mega Puzzle

To complete the puzzle, your kids will try to solve the addition or subtraction equation. Then they’ll find the puzzle piece with the correct number and match it with the equation problem on the mat. Addition problems are colored green and subtraction problems are orange. The kids have to find the correct answer number in matching color as well.

The mega puzzle consists of 4 quadrants. The marks on the corner of each one will help you quickly set up the puzzle. You can tape the back of the four quadrants together and fold them for easy storing.

There is another way you can play this game!

If you prefer, you can place the puzzle pieces upside down instead and write the green and orange numbers on the back of each puzzle piece.

This way, the puzzle will turn into a “mystery” one and kids won’t be able to recognize, what the picture will look like, until the puzzle is completed. That can be fun too! That’s why this pack includes additional version without numbers on puzzle pieces.
